Want to Experience the Best of Margaret River?
Let TMG - Travel Management Group be your guide to some of the most exciting things to do and see in the Margaret River Wine Region.
The beautiful Margaret River Wine Region is located three hours drive south of Perth in the south-western corner of Australia. It extends from Dunsborough and Busselton in the north to Augusta in the south. The Cape is bounded by crystal clear blue waters on three sides, with Geographe Bay and the Indian Ocean to the north and west and the sweep of the Southern Ocean, beyond Cape Leeuwin.
The area enjoys a delightful Mediterranean maritime climate, with the temperature rarely rising above 32 degrees celsius in summer. In winter the temperature ranges between 11 and 18 degrees celsius. There are more than 100 wineries in the region, and as with all premium wine areas it has a strong gourmet food industry, with over 20 winery restaurants and cafes. There are wine events all year round, however the highlight is the popular Margaret River Wine Region Festival in March / April.
